Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data DevAura Agency ("DevAura", "we") collects through devaura.uk and our licence services, why, and what choices you have. It covers the website. The DevAura Field Courier mobile app has its own policy at devaura.uk/courier/privacy.
1. Who is responsible
DevAura Agency is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@devaura.uk.
2. What we collect
- Contact and project details you send us through the consultation form, the project survey or the trial sign-up: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company name, your message, the services and options you choose, budget preferences, and any files you attach.
- Licence data for our software: company name, contact email and phone, plan, licence key, and the technical details your Odoo server sends when it checks the licence (database identifier, Odoo URL and version, active courier count, IP address, timestamps).
- Technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, kept in server and security logs.
- Cookies: see section 6.
We do not ask for payment card details on this site.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver the project (steps you asked for before a contract, and performing the contract).
- To issue, verify and support software licences (performing the contract).
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems (our legitimate interests).
- To understand how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies (your consent).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.
4. Who we share it with
- Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger), which stores the site, the database and our mailboxes.
- Google, for website analytics, only after you consent.
- Services you choose to use: WhatsApp when you message us, and Calendly when you book a call.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client and licence records: for the life of the contract, plus the period tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 6 years).
- Security logs: up to 12 months.
6. Cookies
- Necessary:
devaura_user_themeremembers whether you chose the light or dark theme (1 year). The cookie banner also stores your choice. - Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*), set only after you click "Accept". You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020), you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@devaura.uk and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK, that is the ICO (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, rate limiting and regular backups to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we will tell you without undue delay if a breach is likely to affect you.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
